“Worst VRBO experience imaginable. No AC. No microwave. No ventilation or natural light. RATS everywhere outside, and no screens, so windows cannot be opened. This is an illegal unit with multiple code violations. Showers don’t drain so the water is up to your shins when you are finished. Only Lukewarm water in shower and scalding water in the sink. Cheap, worn linens. It was 85 degrees in the apartment. No fans. No lamps. No mirrors— just a cracked, broken mirror on the medicine cabinet which……

“This is a cute loft apartment. Access to the apartment is up two flights of stairs, and the apartment is close to other apartments. There are two full/queen beds, and a sofa that folds into a bed. It is perfect for a family! There were one or two cosmetic defects (scratches on frig, chip on bathroom cabinet) but it was totally fine! It is a kitchenette. Near markets, pizza. About 15 minute walk to time square. I would recommend!!”

“Pros: location was great. Next to Bryant Park, so very close to a subway station. Price per night was excellent. Neutral: building itself was somewhat old. The elevator was one of the smallest I've seen before. If you're going up with luggage, it will barely fit 2 people and 2 suitcases. Rooms felt smaller in person than in the photos but that's fine. Con: there's no front desk to speak of. You have to communicate with the host thru private messages only. Turn around time for a response is……
