"The staff were so friendly. The Taven waitress at night didn’t do a good job though. Got our order wrong and charged us for the other order plus the original order. Forgot to get my husbands drink until he was just about done eating. "

"The stay was enjoyable, the staff was very friendly and accomodating, the room could have been cleaner, there were stains and peeling paint on the ceiling in the bathroom, there was something that had run out of a vent on the bathroom wall leaving a white stain on the wall, the air conditioner unit was extremely loud when operating. Given the cost of the stay, I would expect these minor things to have been corrected prior the guest arrival."

"It was a very nice weekend. The hotel, the staff, the accommodations, the meals. The drinks were all top-notch."

"For a high end hotel it wasn't maintained very well. The caulk in the shower looked terrible. The shower curtain was too short so water was everywhere after the shower. A plastic water guard in the shower was broken also. Water pressure was low in the shower as well. I bumped a shelf in the bathroom and it fell off the wall, I'm 5'3". The bed was comfy and the room clean, I just expected more for what I paid (over $200). The luggage carts were dirty but they moved easily. The toilet seat was loose and would move when you sit. No issue with staff, check in, check out. It's just a dated old hotel that is very over priced. "

"The house is charming and full of character. The neighborhood is wonderful, and Kenwick Table is a five minute walk away and a great place for coffee/pastries in the morning and wine/live music in the evening. Good set-up for our dog. The entire experience was extremely positive. The owner and the manager were pleasant and responsive. We hope to return. Highly recommend!"

"The rooms are nice. Location is great! We have stayed at many different hotels in Lexington. This one is one of my favorites. It’s quiet at night (I think Lexington can be a little loud with cars at night) but these rooms are very quiet. The art exhibit is great bonus and fun to explore. Would highly recommend"
