"Just returned home from three nights at this lovely lodge. Located in a quiet part of a large site, it is well maintained and immaculately clean. We were blessed with excellent weather and as an added bonus got a display of the Northern Lights. Everything you need is at this lodge, just add food and some wine and you will have a great time. Would not hesitate to book again."

Wasnt expecting the Ritz as the price was very good but we arrived to find a fair amount of sand on the floors - they clearly had not cleaned floors prior to our arrival. It’s very basic which was ok but would have been a little better if there was a lamp in the bedroom and proper curtains to shut out the morning light. "The location was great - quiet and out of the way but easily access to local attractions. I did find the room a bit warm on arrival and had to immediately turn off the radiators and open the windows. Also, the bed was a bit too hard and uncomfortable for me but that’s personal taste. The wash basin in the bathroom was cracked and I could have done with a hand rail to get in and out of the bath but that was my own fault for not requesting an accessible room. "

"A hidden gem, on arrival some areas feel a little dated this all helps with the ambience so don’t be put off. Lovely ladies very helpful at breakfast, choice amazing and well cooked. We stayed in one of the chalets lots of room and nice new bathroom, also liked you had your own marked parking space close to room. "
