「Our stay at Wild Wood Lake Retreat was truly the relaxing getaway we needed. The lake and surrounding woods were absolutely beautiful, and it truly felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. The house was cute, clean, and well-stocked with pretty much anything you might need. The hosts were quite accommodating and provided clear instructions and expectations. We were very pleased with our stay and would 100% book again. Thank you, Tom and Mary! 」

「Loved the convenience of the location to the river and Lake George. The house was small but very comfortable. We really weren’t in it much anyway. Was able to launch my 22’ boat from the ramp but it was tricky for a boat that size. We didn’t retrieve the boat there because of the drop off; public ramp was really close by. Everyone slept great in the beds and Maria was an awesome Communicator. Hope to go back some day!」

Love that it is pet friendly with a wonderful outdoor space. Homey feel and well located ….easy access to surrounding towns and National Forest. Perfect getaway!」

If looking for an over the top place to stay , look no farther. No more searching for us, our next visit to the area will be at The Turtle Cottage.」

Great dvd collection for adults and kids. Big property for kids to explore and adults to relax. Follow the directions from the owners and you will have no problem getting there. We will definitely book again.」
