"The hotel is very rundown, but is in the midst of renovation and should be nice when done."

"We booked this hotel for 1 night prior to heading to Galveston for a cruise. Prior to booking I called the hotel directly to verify they offered a hotel shuttle. Unfortunately when we arrived we found out that they take a break from noon to 3pm and we landed at 1:30. So we had to find our own transportation to the hotel. We were able to check in early and greatly appreciated that. We did have issues with our room. There was an ant problem. They were all over in the bedroom. When we came back to our room from dinner I found them on the bed. Additionally the TV remote wasn’t working properly. The power button was ripped off so you could only turn on the tv on manually. Then once it was on the volume was very loud. We could not turn it down, with the remote or manual controls. Very frustrating when I am used to sleeping with the tv on quietly. The elevator was very dirty with stains on the walls. Not a great first impression. Our room was also missing some furniture as we booked 4 of the same rooms. No table and chair in the living room. Hotel staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. "

"The bathtub didn't drain well. Short of bath towel. The bathtub faucet was installed upside down. After booked and said the sofa sleeper was not available. "

"A little hard to reach and the shuttle options were subpar for early AM flights, but comfy rest and friendly staff. "
