GREAT Experience for our First Vrbo Stay

Our family stayed at this wonderful Atlanta Vrbo property from December 20, 2024, through December 29, 2024, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the host’s service was exceptional. Communication was prompt, clear, and friendly, making check-in and every aspect of our stay seamless.The property itself was immaculate. It was clear that cleanliness and attention to detail were a top priority, which made us feel comfortable and at home throughout our visit.The location was absolutely perfect! The property was conveniently close to downtown Atlanta, making it easy to access major attractions, shopping centers, and sightseeing venues. Whether we were exploring the city’s highlights or grabbing a bite to eat, everything we needed was just a short drive away.I wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone visiting Atlanta. It will undoubtedly be my first choice when I return in April 2025! A big thank you to the host for making our holiday stay so enjoyable.

We were catfished with this home

DO NOT...and I mean DO NOT...rent this home. Save yourself the money, time, and trauma.We rented this property from July 3–6th for the 4th of July weekend, and it was the WORST vacation rental experience I’ve ever had. From the moment we pulled up after a 7-hour drive from Florida, we were hit with red flags. Two huge garbage bins were overflowing in front of the house, attracting what felt like a million flies.We walked into an 85-degree oven — the AC was completely non-functional. The heat smacked us in the face immediately. The house looked NOTHING like the listing. No ambiance. No charm. No attention to detail. Just disappointment.Let’s run the list:The couch was grossly stained and nasty. Definitely not something you’d want to sit on, let alone relax.Pillows, rugs, and furniture (like the blue chair) that were clearly pictured in the listing were just...missing.No complimentary wine or water as advertised.Dead, smashed bugs literally stuck to the wall in the kitchen.Not enough linens for the number of guests listed on the booking.All stove knobs were broken, you couldn’t even turn them properly. The oven didn’t work at all.Dog poop everywhere in the yard. Just disgusting.TV remotes were broken, we couldn’t even change the channels.Bathroom fan sounded like it needed a tune-up or a whole replacement.The moving, the heat, the dirt, the broken everything — this experience was exhausting and unacceptable. We didn’t get what we paid for.
