「We booked two family rooms ( for 6 peoples) and called in advance to inform that we need to stay on the same floor. Staff said they have a remark, but they didn’t arranged and not available. Rooms are good.But only the sofa double bed very uncomfortable. We enjoyed the slider in the swimming pool. But the hot top water are very dirty and you can smell the water was too irritating. Breakfast was good. Pancake machine can make a great pancake by yourself. We enjoy the stay. 」

「We stayed in an upgraded room in the top building, it was spacious and well appointed. It’s an excellent location to walk around Baddeck’s Main Street, restaurants & shops, play pool at the Legion, and not far to walk to the waterfront boardwalk and wharf. We did not have a chance to try Gisele’s new lounge and renovated restaurant - but look forward to trying those next time. We have stayed there many many times, and look forward our to future stays.」

「The checkin staff were great. We got there early and although the room was not yet ready they called as soon as it was. The hotel is a but retro/dated but clean and well maintained. Excellent location. Breakfast was a bit difficult. The staff seemed overwhelmed. We asked 3 times for the coffee to come. There was no toast, sausages or bacon at the buffet and when we asked it took a long time to be replenished. There seemed to be a lot of staff but maybe young and inexperienced as they didnt...
