Great for Families

Large home in subdivision but close to stores, gas stations, shopping. We enjoyed the shady, backyard patio. Very comfy beds and furniture. Nice place to stay.

Good place for a weekend

Nice clean place, good temp control. Stocked with key essentials for cooking. Good neighborhood with a park nearby for taking the dogs. Would stay again.

Quiet neighborhood

Quiet neighborhood. The house has lots of space. All three bedrooms are on the top floor. We enjoyed our stay. The host responded quickly and the only things we had to do before we left was take out the garbage and turn on the dishwasher 🙂 I would definitely recommend this place.

Nice place

Lots of seating and sleeping areas. Worked well for our group of 8. The yard could definitely use some maintenance to be able to enjoy it more. Host was very responsive.

Perfect for my family

Our time in Aurora house

My family and me have a good time in Aurora. We spent a long time in Chicago e in Naperville, where my niece Claudia lives, but we enjoy our stay in Aurora house very much, because the house was nice, confortable, light and clean. It just suited to a big family!

Family Funeral

My children met me at the house from different states to attend their grandfathers funeral. Other family members stayed nearby. The house was perfectly situated to make all the assorted activities easy to get to. We weren’t there much, but it seemed to be a good place to stay as there were many things to occupy us if the weather had not been so nice.

Amazing 😍

We spent Christmas 2022 at the house. The house is big and cozy. We had family over for the holidays and it’s a great place to host for kids. The kids absolutely loved the basement set up and there was plenty of room for hosting and socializing. The house was very comfortable and clean and fully equipped with everything you need. We also had our dog and cat with us. The cat loved exploring all the rooms and the dog loved the back yard and all the cozy places to take a nap. We will definitely be booking again if available! I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Nice house, convenient location

We stayed over Mother's Day weekend. It was a lovely house with two large family areas and TVs in every room and access to our streaming apps. We were disappointed the yard was not mowed w/tall weeds. Some of the deck is starting to fall apart. It wasn't suitable for the 3-year-old to run around in. However, the neighbors did say that the landscaping had been kept up last year. But knowing we were coming, it would have been nice to have at least sprayed for the weeds. The sump pump hose has holes in it and leaked in the front yard and across the sidewalk. The front porch would be nice if the bushes were trimmed so there was a view. Outside needs some TLC. Inside the house, the decor is very nice though dated. It was clean except for the kitchen drawers having mouse droppings, so we washed all the silverware, then the plates and cups as needed, and ate out. We booked for 5b adults and 1 child. There was one hand towel in the downstairs bathroom, one large towel and washcloth/handtowel in the main bath (but no hand soap, the container was empty) and two large towels, 2 washcloths, and a hand towel in the master bath. I think whoever does the cleaning should be notified of these issues. We were notified of the yard issue the day of our arrival. She said she lived close by if we needed anything but asked us to bring in the trash cans (knocked over full of water after rain.) We could only contact her via email, so if there had been an emergency, it might have been awhile.

Very disappointed

We purchased this booking for a family stay communication was great until we arrived. We encountered a late checkin, very dirty massive ANT infested home that smelled like animal urine on the main floor into garage. We had to buy ant /bug bombs to kill the the insects. We spent own money on cleaning supplies, had to clean the entire home ourselves. The master bedroom had bodily fluids on sheets, white comforter was covered with human/animal hair that we had to wash. All the bathrooms were dirty they had massive amounts of hair on the floor & tubs had not been cleaned at all. All the toilets had dried urine on the toilet seats & down the sides, one toilet had feces marks in the toilet. The floors had not been mopped or swept at all. We had to vacate the place on day 2. The host was had terrible communication & basically called us liars. The house is not cleaned by any cleaning lady. Its done inhouse hence the prior reviews all state the house was not cleaned when they arrive & one person said they had to spend an entire day cleaning. The house allows animal's we missed that part otherwise we would not have rented.The house was not kept up the grass was overgrown, weeds sprouting up house look deserted. We dont like to give bad reviews as weve rented plenty of homes on vrbo but weve never encountered anything like this-very misleading representation of the property & it doesnt sleep 13 people as advertised i have video & time stamped pics of entire house. Not as described!

Great accommodation

The home was clean and accommodated my family of 8 and my wife’s sister and husband. We had trouble figuring out one of the showers and the Dori was quick to respond and came over and showed us how to work it. I recommend the home for anyone with larger families.

Resting our heads

Contact with host was quick and easy. Sheets/bedding smelled and were full of some hairs. Bathrooms were not as clean as we would have liked. We were only there to rest our heads at night.

Very Comfortable

We only stayed a few days but the house was very comfortable. The two living/TV areas gave us plenty of room to spread out. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
