High-end Home on 33 Acres to Roam, Short Drive to Downtown.

This secluded retreat is nestled in the Barton Creek Valley just west of downtown Austin. It is the ideal location for a family or a group of friends to explore all that Central Texas has to offer. Downtown Austin, the hill country, shopping, outdoor recreation, breweries, wineries, distilleries, olive farms and iconic local restaurants are all near by. Great home base to enjoy special events such as UT Football, Formula 1, Austin City Limits, SXSW and countless others.

Events: We can accommodate "events" of 25 people or fewer, total. Weddings, Graduations, Business meetings, etc. An event fee would apply in addition to the rental fee, which would include a staff of one to help set-up, keep-up and clean-up. All non-overnight guests must be off property by 10:00 p.m..

Our home is extremely private at the end of a dead-end street with the nearest neighbor being over 100 yards away. This secluded gem offers star filled night skies with only the sound of night birds, the rustle of the trees and the howl of a distant coyote. Even though you are in the country, downtown Austin is a short 18 mile drive and 9 miles from Dripping Springs' famous dance halls, bars and restaurants. Even better, you can walk to award winning Jester King Brewery and Revolution Distillery.

The house is 6000 square feet overlooking the Barton Creek Valley surrounded by 33 acres of wooded areas and pasture. It can sleep up to 16 people. It has 5 bedrooms plus a theater that can be converted into sleeping area.

You enter our home via a high walled courtyard filled with plants that attract hummingbirds and butterflies. There are several sitting areas in the courtyard, perfect for star gazing at night.

As you enter the house, on the main floor, you will enter the great room that opens up to an outside upper patio overlooking the pool and the Barton Creek Valley. Along with the views, the upper patio greets you with a fire place, seating and dining areas, an outdoor grill and, between March and September, hummingbirds zipping by all day fighting over the feeders! Our very large chef's kitchen, perfect for community cooking, along with a large dinning table make meal time a joy and two dishwashers make cleanup a snap! The breakfast bar sits 4, the dining room table sits 10 very comfortably. You will find a powder room on the main floor along with laundry facilities.

The master bedroom, with its king sized bed is also on the main floor. Also on the main floor are the "Guest Room" with an ensuite bathroom and a king sized bed and the "Moon Room" has two queen sized beds. The master bedroom and the Guest Room have balconies overlooking the pool and the Barton Creek Valley. The Moon Room has a fireplace and access to the courtyard. The main floor guest room is handicapped friendly with a roll-in shower and wall support for transfers.

The top floor features the "Rapunzel Suite", an additional master suite. This room stands alone at the top of a winding staircase for complete privacy. We can add an additional actual queen sized bed into this room in order to sleep 4. The views from the private balcony are breathtaking. The luxurious bathroom will spoil you in comfort.

The pool level floor, accessible by stairs and an elevator from the main floor, includes a guest room with a private bath king sized bed. No balcony but direct pool access for that midnight swim! On this level there is a pool table, mini-kitchen with sink, mini frig and microwave. Additionally, a large format screen in a theater that can also accommodate up to six people with three actual queen size beds, not air mattresses. There is also a full bath in the common area for pool use and those staying in the theater.

Pool level outside has very large poolside patio and lounge area, infinity edge pool and jacuzzi.

Other features include NetFlix, MAX, Amazon Prime, wireless internet, and board games.

Required Disclosure: Surveillance devices are on the property and are used for security purposes to include verification of number of authorized guests. Surveillance devices are only outside and include a Ring Doorbell at the courtyard entrance. Cameras monitor the driveway entrance, garage entrance, front courtyard and pool area, this video is only reviewed if an incident requires such review.
Reasonable measures are taken to limit access to surveillance data, only the host has access to such data.
All surveillance data is deleted when no longer needed.
