Off the beaten path

This place was close to everything but off the beaten path. Its best features are the nature surrounding every side, its quietness, and its closeness to a city trail that is lovely. The home is older, but has been tastefully updated. Master shower is great! Lots of spaces inside and out for reading, sitting, sketching, etc. We really enjoyed our time here.

Convenient and Cozy

Spent Christmas here to be close to family and have no complaints. The house was clean, had a lovely deck, and all the amenities we needed. It was so lovely to drink coffee outside on a cool foggy morning. The trailhead is right next to the house, and there were lots of deer to spot each day. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

Nice but won’t rebook

The property is in a nice neighborhood at the bottom of a hill, surrounded by lots of trees and 5min from stores/restaurants. The house was clean, kitchen is well stocked with plates and appliances. The ice maker doesn’t work but we just bought a bag of ice. The washer/dryer worked well enough, we needed to wash the 1 towel you get per person and we stayed for several nights. The patio is nice and would be beautiful in the fall/winter, our stay was mid July and the mosquitoes had a feast so we didn’t stay out there very long. The driveway snuggly fits two vehicles but the overgrowth of the bushes on the right side made it very difficult to exit the car and it scratched the roof of the rental. Not enough for the rental company to notice but the bushes should be trimmed. The reason for 3 stars: WiFi didn’t work. Yes we reset it. Due to property location reception isn’t great which I can live with but we couldn’t stream any devices or TV. The most important reason though; All the beds are incredibly firm but specifically the Master bedroom. It was the most uncomfortable place in the entire house. Along with the rock hard bed the room was so hot. The AC DOES NOT adequately reach the master room sufficiently. Plus the fan remote doesn’t work thus it was stuck on the lowest setting. We couldn’t use the fan light nor turn the fan on/off. The house is clean and nice but due to how uncomfortable it was to sleep there, we definitely will not be rebooking this property.
