Amazing Oasis

Had a wonderful stay and took advantage of all Hatteras had to offer from eating out, cooking in, The beaches, fishing, swimming, kayaking, bike rides and massages at Spa Koru! . Nicest People and overall wonderful and memorable memories!

Family vaca 2023

The house was very spacious and well equipped. Very comfortable and clean. Nice playroom and theatre room!! Having bathroom in every bedroom was so convenient for multiple families. TVs in each bedroom was great. Towels were rather sparse for a family our size. Biggest disappointment was we searched for a house that had two washers and dryers only to arrive with one washer out of order. Also, the pool area is not very accommodating for large groups, needs more space for chairs. Overall would rank our satisfaction of the house 8 of 10.

Good, not great

Property was as expected from description, and overall not bad and we had a good time, so I don't want this to sound all negative. But what the description doesn't tell you is that the outside decking is all old, worn, and even feels a little loose, easy to get splinters. And the cleanliness around the pool was not the best. The sand is uncontrollable around the pool, outdoor shower, and then all gets tracked through the house. I realize it is at the beach, but we never had this issue at other houses that had some type of decking or such and spray hose that you could spray off when coming back from beach. The outdoor shower area was concrete and not sloping away from the house so water actually puddled around it full of sand that you then tracked everywhere. Then some of the small things were seemed to be ignored like the pool table not having any chalk, not a corkscrew in the house, or even salt & pepper. Granted we could easily remedy these things, but having these little things already taken care of is what makes a house great. This was the 5th house we've stayed in (3rd through covid), so it is hard to blame that on these things.
