"I went here on a retreat with 8th graders. The property was clean and well prepared. The recreational equipment was all in good order. The kitchen was adequate for cooking feeding a large group. The place would also be excellent for a reunion site. The decking, chairs and outside was spectacular with abundant seating areas in great condition."

"Very nice house with tons of amenities. We enjoyed the pool/spa in the backyard, as well as the outdoor grill. One of the best things was having access to the 6-seat golf cart to get around town and to the beach. Great communication with the owners. Plan to stay here again next time in Galveston!"

"Went on a “Dad’s Retreat” with two friends. Had an awesome time. House was clean and spacious for the three of us. Pool was fun. Location was great, short walk to beach and a few bars / restaurants. The owners were great about communicating and helped us out a lot. Highly recommend!"

"We really enjoyed the house and the location -- just a quick walk or trolley ride to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The kiddos loved the heated pool and large dining room table where we were able to all eat together and play games as a whole group. We also enjoy the wrap around porch and grilling area."

"We enjoyed our stay. Just a couple of things to improve. The couch was not very comfortable. I would suggest a newer more comfy one to enjoy TV watching. Also, the thermostat was very confusing and difficult to operate. Otherwise it was great. Bedrooms were roomy and the bed was super comfortable. Backyard space was quiet and quite large. Decor was homey and inviting. Location made it easy to enjoy Galveston Home Tour."

"Older, but well kept loft. Good location, close to the Strand. Had creaky floors, but that's to be expected from such an old building. Not handicap accessible. Looks like there may have once been an elevator, but it's not in use, so you have to climb stairs to get to the loft. Was not an issue for us though."
