“I cannot speak highly enough of our incredible stay at Don Alfonso 1890. We felt as though we were being welcomed home by family. The atmosphere is so tranquil and relaxing, everything embellished tastefully with soft pastels of flowers and lemons and local fauna. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with an in-room coffee maker and each day we would return to our room with a tiered platter of desserts and finger sandwiches - exactly what we needed to tide us over before dinner.……

It is aptly named - it truly is an oasis. It’s in a beautiful spot with spectacular views. And the food is sumptuous. But what sets it apart is the kind, attentive and welcoming staff. They made our stay one of the best experiences we’ve ever had at a hotel. ”

“The BEST place to stay in Sorrento. My husband and I celebrated part of our Honeymoon in Sorrento and during our time we stayed at Romantic Relais. It was perfection. The rooms are modern, quiet, super clean, and spacious. We woke up every morning to a perfect view of Mount Vesuvius. The rooms are so great but the best thing about this resort is Antonella and Giuseppe. They are truly the kindest and warmest hosts and they pour their heart and soul into this place. The food at their restaurant……

“We loved this hotel and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Sorrento! It’s a little bit out of the city centre, which makes it very quiet and relaxing. The outdoor spaces (pool, restaurant, gardens) are beautiful and the staff is very kind and welcoming. The hotel also partners with a number of tour companies which you can book through Expedia messenger or the front desk. We booked the Amalfi boat tour and had an amazing day! The only negative was a very small amount of mold in the……
