“Lovely stay overall. The setting is beautiful and very relaxing. Breakfast was made to order and consistently excellent, and we really enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting each day at 5:30pm—a lovely touch that added to the experience. The bathrooms, while very clean, could benefit from some modernising and refurbishment. One small note: pool service was a bit slow, and there is a tray charge and tip automatically included with pool drink orders. The amount is minimal, but it would be helpful……

“We stayed 3 nights in the Coach house recently. The rooms are fabulous and the views are stunning. Definitely 5* rooms however the whole place is let down by a few service issues. - We had no wifi in our rooms for the entire stay. When we enquired about this on day 1 we were told that it sometimes doesn't work and no effort was made to fix the problem. - Our plunge pool was filthy. There was sand in the bottom and when we looked at the neighbouring room's pool, ours was definitely green.……

“Glamping at its best. Well equipped kitchen, the outdoor hot tub was great, comfy beds, great shower. Beautiful settings, relaxing atmosphere. All great. ”

“I am a repeat visitor to Pontac. A lovely place to spend time at, especially outside on the stoep. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are great, wonderful views of the mountains surrounding Paarl. Definite value for money. The only area for improvement would be breakfast, it is okay, but could use some attention.”

“Een prachtige villa in de middle of nowhere. Just what we needed! Wild Olive House is self-service, maar perfect als je met een kleine op vakantie bent. Contact met Vicky van de Farmhouse Guest rooms ging prima. Soms een tikkie stug, maar als je wat langer praat ook gewoon heel vriendelijk. We hebben een Game Drive met Esmeralda gedaan en dat was fantastisch. Heel vriendelijk en een prachtige drive, veel informatie en ondanks dat ze niet de Big Five hebben, voelde het soms zelfs meer bijzonder……
