"This is a nice older hotel, but is missing a few touches. The overhead light in our room was broken. We reported it and the desk staff did ask if we wanted maintenance to fix it, but honestly for the price, this should have been picked up and repaired before hand. The staff all work hard and are pleasant; breakfast offers a reasonable selection of hot and cold, and I did appreciate the great selection of hot beverage options in our room. I think there are likely better hotels in Harrogate for similar prices, and although not my favourite a probably would stay there again, but I would hope I wouldn’t have to repot a broken light in my room."
