13. Wonderful modern, spacious and comfortable villa

Fornells

"The villa is incredibly well placed on the edge of Fornells but within easy walk of the village centre. The villa is of modern design but with just a few small defects that require tidying up to make it perfect. The hosts were excellent both in communication and ensuring we were enjoying our stay. The pool is of a great size with sunshine on it all day but shade available under the main building if required. The air conditioning works incredibly well to keep the villa a perfect temperature. "Wonderfull place to do a short or long vacation. The beach is located just 100m from the villa (its rocky but you benefit from emptiness and nice pine trees). There is a little SPAR in the next building and two restaurants in a walking distance. In the villa itself you have a barbecue place (wood coals), well equipped kitchen and a small pool. All bedrooms has aircon (that is a big plus!) and very comfy beds (all of us had really nice there). You can enjoy the view of the bay from two...

Top Balearic Islands Hotel Reviews

Aubamar Palma Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing place"

Hotel Royal Plaza

8/10 Good

"Another excellent stay, this time was upgraded to a balcony! Nice large room with all the facilities, the fridge temp is a bit too high and I couldn't find a way to adjust. Good to have a proper bath rather then just a shower! Also very qouet despite being street-side, thick curtains help keep the noise out. The two disappointing things are the jacuzzi (bubble bath) was closed, and that an extra payment would be required anyway, and that the downstairs bar in the lounge is closed/unused, which would be a great feature."

Grupotel Maritimo

10/10 Excellent

"I had a fantastic stay at Grupotel Marítimo and honestly couldn’t be happier with my choice. I’m so glad I booked this hotel! Location: The location is excellent. You can take a bus directly from the airport and the bus stop is only about a 3-minute walk from the hotel. The beautiful beach is also just a few minutes away on foot, making it perfect for a relaxing holiday. Room & Cleanliness: My room was very spacious, including the bathroom and I had a beautiful view of the pool from my balcony. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, well maintained and incredibly spacious. There was plenty of room in the lobby and throughout the hotel to sit, relax and enjoy yourself. Food: I stayed on a half-board basis and both breakfast and dinner were amazing. There was a huge variety of food to choose from with plenty of options. The quality and selection made it excellent value for money. Staff & Service: All the staff were extremely nice and welcoming. One thing that really impressed me was the service after checkout. I had an evening flight, so I spent the day enjoying the beautiful sunshine at the beach rather than missing out on such a lovely day. When I returned to collect my luggage, the hotel kindly provided me with a towel and allowed me to have a shower so I could freshen up before my journey. I really appreciated this thoughtful gesture. Perfect hotel for a relaxing beach holiday with delicious food and excellent service. Huge thanks to all the lovely staff. Highly recommend!❤️"

HM Palma Blanc Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We had a fabulous stay at HM Palma Blanc Hotel & would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a base in Palma. We stayed for our wedding anniversary & had just one night but an early flight out then a late flight home the following day. When we arrived, we were able to use all of the facilities immediately even though our room wasn’t quite ready (which we weren’t expecting it to be so this wasn’t a problem). We left our luggage with the concierge & changed in the spa (which looked fab, but we didn’t use it this trip). The rooftop pool was amazing & the loungers & daybeds were really comfy. Drinks at the bar up there were reasonably priced too. We spent time exploring the city & this hotel is in a great location - it’s only 15 minutes or so to the Cathedral & close to the popular tourist sites. All of the staff we encountered were friendly & helpful, the room was lovely & I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Palma."
