“This was our third time at Mandela Desa. While things have changed around the villas since we were there last in 2018, it still offers the peace and tranquillity and wonderful obliging staff as always. The View Suite still offers the amazing rice field and mountain views and having breakfast on the veranda was a favourite time of day for us. We highly recommend this 4 room boutique accommodation to anyone that is looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Bali or Ubud. Relax and recharge……

“This place is a hidden gem and is beautiful the only thing that lets it down is basically no "front desk" or reception. If you like a quieter villa with magnificent views its great, but you basically have to travel for meals. ”

“Lovely, hard working staff. Room had some issues that was quickly resolved. The Villas are so beautiful and the area is wonderful. The new Eka Wood restaurant is a particular highlight and it’s close by. Pay the extra and book the Villas is my recommendation. The air con is super powerful!”
