"If you are looking for old-world charm, this fabulous hotel has it in spades. This is every bit a 5 star hotel. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and the staff is impeccable. Attention to detail is the rule. Breakfast was fabulous and the lobby is a wonderful place to relax and have a drink after a night out. At first the neighborhood seemed a bit on the gritty side, but that seems to be much less of an issue after we got the hang of things and were more comfortable. We think this hotel is awesome."

"The b&b is centrally located with nice balcony over looking the area. Breakfast is served at the local bars. You get a choice of 2 items, drink and juice. At first I thought this would not be enough food, but the 2 meat sandwiches I had every morning were very filling. And the orange juice is fresh squeezed. The bed was comfortable and the a/c was good. There were plenty of outlets and usb for all your electronic needs. Better than any other property we stayed at in Sicily. The on site managers was very friendly. We ran into him several times at the bar. The only problem is that the manager is only there limited hours so if your flight gets in early morning or after 8pm there is no one to let you in, so you must tell host your arrival time so you wont find yourself out on the street for the night ."

"The hotel was pleasant enough. Charming old building, decent room, very nice courtyard for breakfast and dinner. One complaint, we booked a taxi from the airport to the hotel through the hotel. When our flight was delayed and we missed our connection we messaged the hotel well in advance to let them know we would be arriving later in the day. Several hours later we received a message saying we would be charged for 75 euro and they would charge another 75 euro to meet us later that day. It then took multiple calls to eliminate the charge and arrange the revised pickup. The only explanation I can come up with is that they don't check the messages and so can't update the driver. But the fact that they attempted to charge us shows either contempt for their customers or complete ignorance. I would suggest just grabbing a cab at the airport when you arrive. All in all it was okay but would't stay there again."
