Spent Christmas/New Years week. 9 of us ranging in age from 3 to 82. Very comfortable. Well equiped. We would definately condiser returning. Community has nice features- Indoor pool, hot tub and multiple workout facilities. Summer pool was closed for the season but looked spectacular. Good location- central to Boone. Plenty of area attractions and things to do for the whole family. 5*s from us.
My stay here was amazing overall. The drive up the hill was a little scary, but they definitely weren't exaggerating about needing four-wheel drive! Once we arrived, our initial walkthrough of the house was great. The home itself was beautiful, and my family and I absolutely loved the view and peaceful environment. The only concern we had was with the showers. The shower door handle, corners, and soap holders could have been cleaned more thoroughly, as they wiped up dirty and initially appeared to have mold. It wasn't a major issue for our short two-day stay, but it's something that could use a bit more attention. The game room was a nice size and perfect for the children, which made the stay even more enjoyable for our family. We truly enjoyed our time and just wish we could have stayed longer!
We needed a close spot for the Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show. This was a great location and very convenient with a drive time of approximately 23 minutes. The house offered us a relaxing place to unwind where we could spread out and enjoy the various amenities - like the game room, the balconies and community. The kitchen was very well stocked, which made it easy to bring our own food and prepare meals.
On arrival we reported to the office that there was significant work in progress in the kitchen (cabinet doors & drawers removed, tools on countertop, etc.). Monica was very responsive, immediately sent Mike (maintenance), thankfully we had not begin to unpack as we were moved to another unit. Very happy with quick response, our ‘vacation start time’ was delayed so it would have been nice if mgmt offered a late departure to make up for the delayed check in. Also, very few dumpster locations, none of which were remotely convenient to our unit without significant driving distance, so we took our trash with us for several miles until we had a travel rest stop. Also we suggest fewer, more consolidated emails with instructions & information; the multiple emails, texts, etc were a little overwhelming when trying to find particular instruction (such as dumpster location map, etc). Love the thoroughness, but consolidations would be very helpful. Overall we had a great time even with lousy rainy weather, and we appreciated Monica’s & Mike’s quick and effective response. Beauiful Townhome, Great Location!
Foscoe Rental office was located less than a mile from the Townhome. Check-in was seamless and staff was friendly and helpful. Working with Foscoe Rentals was great from start to finish. Townhome is located in a gated comminity,Echota on the Ridge. Views are amazing! Townhome is a corner unit and located directly adjacent to the Clubhouse. This is a plus if you're traveling with more than 2 cars. We were able to park the 2 extra cars @ the Clubhouse with only a short walk back to the unit. Townhome was beautifully decorated, VERY clean, and well equipped. I'm a total stickler for cleanliness and I was impressed! Comminity was quiet easy to navigate. We had 6 adults, 3 children and had plenty of room. After dropping off luggage we rode the short 15 minute drive to Boone to stock-up on groceries @ Wal-Mart. The kitchen was so well equipped that we ate dinner in every night enjoying the gas log fireplace. The Townhome location was perfect as well. We visited both Hawksnest Resort and Sugar Mountain which were less than 7 miles away. Hawksnest is a must if visiting the area. We did the 10 cable tour and had the most awesome time. Guides were great as well. We made reservations over the phone the morning of and checked-in with no problems. We also skied @ Sugar Mountain purchasing the Twilight lift tickets and arrived about 12:30pm .It was very crowded initally taking close to an hour just to purchase the lift tickets and get rental equipment. I'm sure this is expected for the time of day. Ski lift lines were long as well but around 3pm the crowds started to dwindle and by 4:30pm it was perfect. Plenty of seating at the lodge and ski lifts lines were very short. Food @ the lodge was also very good. We enrolled our 5yr old in the Sugar Bear Ski School and he had tons of fun. We skied until 9pm and had a blast! Overall the long weekend trip was perfect! Can't wait to return!

The location was perfect being centrally located to Boone and Blowing Rock. The views were on point and we had everything we needed and more for a fun family weekend stay. This was great for all ages from 16-70. Everyone had a great time. We would definitely stay here again.
