“The staff at Lilygate are exceptional. I was created by my name as soon as I walked in the door! Nice touch. In addition, I was created with a refreshing cold bottle of water and juice. Ms. Chinyere Kalu, leader at the front desk was a perfect example of providing excellent customer service. She arranged my transportation from the airport to Lilygate, as well as from Lilygate to Ouidah, Benin. If I lived in Lagos, I would hire Ms. Kalu.

“This hotel is not really managed in any meaningful sense. Wifi went down for three days, which meant going off to another hotel to work. They gave me a carton of orange juice by way of apology! The lady at reception also didn't know that only one of the POS machines works for international cards so lots of time wasted try to make a payment. I checked out and moved to Nordic hotel -- more expensive but at least stuff works and you can get things done. I should say that staff at the View are……

“ I reached out to property before posting this & got no reply. I contacted Expedia, they reached out to property & they refused any refund. They asked if I complained to the front desk, I did but that’s useless.
Their Expedia ad claims they offer amenities that they don’t!
1. fridge is not full sized!!! it’s a dorm sized one. The freezer holds maybe 3 bottles of water. There is No room for groceries after adding drinks/water. The kitchen isn’t open like the pics, It’s small and closed……
