The only downside was the location—it was quite far from most of the main tourist attractions and points of interest in Rio de Janeiro, so getting around took more time than expected. "El hotel ya se ve que tiene unos años pero las habitaciones han sido relativamente renovadas, pocas cosas en la habitación no lo han sido, como los sanitarios. Hay muchísima gente entrando y saliendo, pero son bastante ágiles, el desayuno es bueno, pero siempre con gran movimiento Las habitaciones con vista al mar tienen una vista excelente. El gimnasio es bastante pequeño y basico, igualmente la piscina es pequeña pero con una vista espectacular"

"The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. We felt we were home with family and friends. The front desk met us with a smile and everyone of them were eager to help. It was also Very helpful that the Front desk personnel spoke great English. The food was great in the morning breakfast, and at the bar; and restaurant. The cleaning staff worked very hard and kept our room nice and clean. We went to a Soccer game and an Excellent guided tour of many areas including Christ the Redeemer , Sugarloaf Mountain, history lesson. I highly recommend The Hilton, to anybody wanting a nice experience!"

"The concierge staff led by Mr Danilo and Guest relations staff were excellent. The breakfast was ok. It had plenty of fruits and an omelette station. Other than that they also provided detoxifying green juice (only when asked). The pastries were kept in a separate area long with coffee and that whole place was very unhygienic. R era son being, people used their bare hands all the time to pick their pastries instead of the utensils and some of them after touching with their bare hands and their kids bare hands placed them back for others to consume. The Hyatt staff were not doing anything about it. I tried all the restaurants and the service was good. Food was good as well. One big complaint i have is that except for the concierge and some front desk folks noone spoke English and that was extremely hard"
