「Very basic…no room housekeeping, clean towels and no replacement tea/coffee etc.. at breakfast, even though the food was adequate and the staff were helpful the restaurant and tables were bleak …more resembling a canteen than a restaurant. 「I knew the hotel was old and would be dated which I was fine with, reminded me of the shining which I actually liked but the room itself I wasn’t impressed at all with. I paid extra for the better room thinking it would be slightly nicer as it says they were recently renovated but that was wrong. The paint was flaking off the walls and lying on the carpet.
