“We stayed for 2 nights. Upon arriving we immediately noticed mouse traps in every room which was a little unnerving; however, there did not appear to be evidence of live mice in the house. The towels did not smell fresh in downstairs bathroom. And the water pressure was terrible. If the downstairs water was running, there was no water in sink upstairs. There were no bed slats in one bed causing the mattress to fall on floor. Additionally, when we returned one evening, I notified host……

“Clean. Good views. Nice people.”

“Reasonably clean property but there seemed to be a lot of corners being cut. Checked in at around 10:30 pm after a long cross country flight. There were no sheets on the sofa bed or the comforter pack in either of the two rooms we booked, so we dealt with that. Next morning went in for a shower and the shampoo was all empty - nothing at all. Went downstairs and there were no glasses for water. Overall it is a clean property but has a lot of quality issues in their service. And the staff……

“The hotel is badly in need of an update. Sad empty rooms with very old outdated furniture. The hotel is clean but tired. I also object to spending over $600.00 for a two night stay and there being no housekeeping service unless requested. Even if requested the service is minimal unless you are there for four nights. I was very disappointed.”

“We loved the view, along with the kindness and attentiveness of all who worked there. The location was great and made it easy to get to other places of interest in the area, great restaurants, botannical gardens, etc.”
