"Great location, clean, and air conditioning."

"There was an issue with the room because of heavy rains and nothing under the hotels control, but the way the team handled everything was truly outstanding. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely eager to make things right. They went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and well taken care of, which made all the difference. Despite the hiccup, I left with a very positive impression and would happily stay here again. The hotel is in a great location and the beach club is really nice! We even saw dolphins in the sea when sitting at the pool's bar which was insane. "

"Our stay at Coral Bay was AMAZING! From the moment we arrived Alfred and Sonia the owners were very friendly and attentive. We were welcomed with welcome drinks and both were eager to answer any and all questions. Our room was simply impeccable. From the decorations to the small details to even the breakfast each morning that Sonia served was outstanding. Waking up to Ocean views all around was a once in a lifetime dream come true. Our trip was cut short due to unseen circumstances, however, while we were staying at coral Bay. It was heaven on earth. Alfred even helped my husband set up a two or four a private boat for myself and my husband for the day. This is the first time we’ve ever went to a resort and we’re the only couple there for a few days. We enjoyed every moment of talking with both of them. And definitely plan to come back one day when we can stay longer."

"There was lots of room inside, not terribly comfortable but comfortable enough. It was nice outside, but I stayed out too long and got eaten by the sand fleas. It was actually a pretty nice location. There was a little trouble communicating, but the staff was very nice and helpful."

"Writing this review to quiet some of the concerns of the previous reviewer… this rental was amazing! First, the views cannot be beat and the outdoor deck living space is just wonderful. It is the highest location in this particular spot of Basti, with amazing views and a breeze. It’s basically a very unique tropical jungle treehouse high above the town. The ACs in the bedrooms work very well and there is consistently hot water, with strong water pressure - things that are hard to find on Basti! There are 77 steps (not “literally 97” like another review mentions) but more than half of them are steps from the road and through a little wooded area. The main staircase up the side of the house is about 30 steps straight up and is sturdy. Small price to pay for the incredible view you get in return. And you’re pretty much always sweating in Basti anyway so not a big deal, haha. Yes, there is a bar on the water that plays very loud music some nights - for us, it was only loud Saturday and Sunday night and we were there for 7 nights. Anywhere you stay in this section of Basti will have this issue too, this is not unique to this rental property. We brought earplugs and that helped tremendously. The place was very clean upon arrival. Yes, bugs are around as it’s a jungle, this is not avoided anywhere on the island.We have been to Basti twice and would stay here again in a heartbeat. It’s a special island, this is a special house, and we had a magical time! "
