It would’ve been nice to have had access to a communal fridge and easier access to the secure bicycle area. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable my entire stay. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff who made sure my room was always spotless and tidy."

The town on Beaune is beautiful and very easy to walk to from the hotel. There are plenty of dining options and some cute stores in the town, and it’s a great base to explore the Burgundy region. "Very helpful and friendly staff. Quirky layout and decorated 'public' rooms. Lovely room, well furnished, comfy bed and pillows. Our room overlooked a little breakfast courtyard. Super quiet. Good sized bathroom. Clean and well appointed. Excellent sized towels. White and soft. Good selection of breakfast fare. Centre of Beaune with parking all around. Cant fault it. Will definitely stay here again."

"The hotel is stunningly beautiful. MANY stairs. Not at all accessible for anyone unable to walk. Pool is lovely. We were provided with robes and slippers to wear down. The wine bar has a good selection with varying prices. We had the Santenay, Grand Cru. Staff were extremely polite and professional and spoke English. Parking was on the street a short walk from L’Abbaye."
