“We had a great time at Stoll's Spot. The location was great, the place was very clean. We did find a few ladybugs in the house, but with the weather getting colder, that didn't surprise us. Host was great, attentive to our questions and concerns. ”

“We had a very nice stay at The Guides House and would not hesitate to book there again. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond when we reached out to him. The house was both clean and comfortable. We did have a little trouble with the lockbox but with a little perseverance were able to get it to work. A very positive experience. ”

“The house was very dirty upon arrival. All items such as kayaks and toys were all very old and dirty, no work was done upon arrival, floors were dirty, there was a bunch of cob webs in windows. We were told there would be toiletries and there was only half a roll of toilet paper provided. Back deck appeared as though furniture and deck hadn’t been properly cleaned and the bed sheets were dirty as well. Sadly very disappointed in our stay here. Pictures were not accurate at all. “The room was very attractively decorated and the kitchen well-equipped. I enjoyed reading on the dock in the early evening and having breakfast (such as it was - see below) on the little porch off my room and looking out on beautiful, serene Big Moose Lake. I wish I had known the continental breakfast I had read about online was discontinued a couple of years ago after the fire. I didn’t have much food with me and had only brought lunch food for the next day. Fortunately, I had brought a few……
