“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villas Secreta! The sea views on the west side with the lagoon view on the east side were perfect for us as we loved both watching the sea and also seeing all the bird species visiting the lagoon. We were two couples in our sixties and the boat ride to/from the resort was easy. Lee was available to take us and retrieve us as we needed and was very attentive to any to requests or needs. We actually appreciated the fact that the resort is private. The only thing……

“We loved our stay here! Having the pool/hot tub all to ourselves was the absolute best and the host was very easy to communicate with. This area is perfect, away from the more crowded Placencia but still near restaurants/resorts. Would recommend!”

“The home, the grounds, and the staff were spectacular! I would highly recommend a stay at Casa Tortuga. The only issue we had was the heavy sargassum algae on the surrounding beachfront. We called an audible after arrival and spent several days on a boat versus staying at Casa Tortuga. ”

“The property was gorgeous and very clean. The outdoor pool with a jungle view was breathtaking. Plenty of space and everything was very modern. Their chef makes a delicious breakfast and everything is fresh. The assistant manager Tiffani was truly amazing she helped with everything from beginning to end. “A few days in paradise, I didn’t want to leave! Did a girls trip to Belize and this property was perfect. The caretaker lives onsite in case you need anything. The hula bar is a two min walk in case you need anything.Each room a ceiling fan and separate air which was nice. The room with the bunk beds also has an additional bed which doesn’t show in the pics. ”

“The first night I got there I arrived later then the group and the guy renting our golf cart came up to our villa and asked my to pay for the golf carts. He asked me to Zelle him…he ended up charging me for 1 week when I only asked for 4 days. He did return the money back to me but if I didn’t have noticed it would’ve been a 250 dollar difference. Then while we were staying they asked if someone could come look at the property for a potential buyer. There we some ladies that did not feel……

“Location was excellent, very private. House had a very nice layout for our group. Sunset on the top deck so beautiful. Pool was refreshing and clean. Private chef was A+. Not only great food, Nelson and Nancy were very thoughtful and nice people. Unfortunately the house was not secure we had our passports and a lot of cash so that was not easy because we didn’t want to travel to tourist spots with everything but didn’t have much of a choice.
