This home is only a mile from the Bellaire Village limit, but literally next door to almost 800 Acres of woods and 31.5 miles of hiking/biking/cross-country skiing/snowshoeing trails at Glacial Hills Trails.

It's less than 5 minutes to downtown Bellaire and Short's Brewery, the Bellaire Theatre, or any number of other local establishments. Less than 10 minutes to Shanty Creek Resorts for golfing, skiing, fitness center, etc. or to Bellaire Lake or Torch Lake.

If you're looking to spend some time in the Bellaire area, this home is ideally located in the center of it all, yet surrounded by hundreds of acres of natural beauty and privacy!

Perfect place for us for extended vacation

This property exceeded our expectations! It was amazingly clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Bob and Amy were great hosts. They even supplied a lot of things that we usually carry, like hand soap, night lights and a charging station for electronics. There were plenty of cleaning and paper products available also. We stayed for three weeks to explore the area, and we really appreciated the large laundry room with washer and dryer and room to hang your clothes. The little town of Bellaire has restaurants, Shorts Brewery, and some cute storefronts. We enjoyed the coffee (and baked goods) at Ruth Ann's Bakery and Morning Grind. All of the trails and natural areas close by made it easy to enjoy the outdoors. Don't miss the Loon Nesting Preserve. We enjoyed the small towns of Alden and Elk Rapids also (beautiful sunsets in both places!) We could not have asked for a more perfect location or more accommodating hosts. We hated to leave!

Great stay and good communication

We had a great stay here. Very nice place and plenty of day trips to take from here. The owners are very responsive and really nice as well. We noticed when we arrived that the propane was almost empty, we contacted them and we had a new tank within the hour! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Close to Bellaire MI, quiet tucked away location.

Stayed two nights. AC was nice as first two units we visited on our 2 week trip did not. Liked that the house was not on a main through road, so noise was at a minimum. Everything was well stocked and would definitely return in the future.

Would Absolutely Stay Again!!

The house exceeded my expectations! Lots of storage, well stocked, and the high ceilings in the living room were great. It felt so good to just sit on the front porch, in the sun or not (there's a fabric awning you can pull over the table), and be so close to a trailhead as well as downtown Bellaire. It was a nice perk to have access to the giant garage so our car wouldn't get so hot in the sun. This is a great place to stay and I would recommend to everyone AND stay again! :)

Absolutely perfect

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My two sons and I came up for a fishing trip. The location is perfect with several lakes within a short distance. The pull through driveway was also ideal if you’re pulling a boat. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. All three of us decided this will be somewhere we go as often as possible. I was amazed at all of the amenities. Thank you for sharing this excellent property.

Great house for Bellaire vacation

This was our 2nd stay here, and we already booked our next stay for next year, we like it here a lot! Nice clean house on a quiet road, can bike to Glacial Hills. Downtown Bellaire is really close. The owners are responsive and take good care of the property.

Cozy, comfy and peaceful

Totally enjoyed our stay here! Comfortable beds, fireplace, kitchen with anything you need and not too far from town! Beautiful woods, in fact outside every window that’s all you see. It was very peaceful and quiet. We didn’t get a chance to check out the trails down the road, but we used this as a home base to go to Traverse City, Mackinaw City, Petosky and Charlevoix. We made most of our meals there as the kitchen has everything you need and stuff you didn’t know you needed lol!! We didn’t need to communicate with the hosts, everything was as the directions and details stated, although from all the thoughtful details the hosts have done to the house I’m sure communicating would not have been an issue, they truly want you to enjoy your stay there. We loved it and hope to be back!

Great Place, Very Cozy.

The pictures don't do this place it's just desserts. Very clean and cozy. All the extras one might need during a stay away from home. Close to town and next to nature trails. Hosts are quick to respond to questions. If the need arises, I'll be back for sure.

Making Bellaire Easy

Great Fall Getaway

Great place to stay if visiting the Bellaire area. Had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, and the high ceilings made it feel very spacious inside. Not very far out of town but just enough to give you privacy. Star gazing at night was fantastic!
