“I asked where to get water at the front desk and the guy rolled his eyes and was like why do you need water…. Gross place don’t recommend”

“The room was disgusting. It was mold in the shower, the blow dryer didn’t work, shades were broken, the bed was terribly uncomfortable, and there were stains on the sheets. There were also flies in the room. The photos on the website were extremely deceiving”

“I am not a mean spirited person nor am I fussy. But I travel all the time and I grew up in Ocean Grove and my night at The Quaker Inn off season even was not good. For $300 my friend and I got a tiny room with two single beds, no view. When I asked for an upgrade, I got a lame excuse even though the place was empty. There was no hot water for the morning shower; no nice amenities like good soap or shampoos. Thin towels, a cheap blanket. No breakfast. One of those terrible capsule coffee……

“Liz, Ashley and the entire staff at The Inn were excellent and made us feel so comfortable and welcome! Breakfast was delicious and we could have asked for a better stay. Upon waking up to a plumbing issue, Ashley and her staff were right on it and even moved us to a suite to complete our stay. We will definitely be staying here again and this Inn and the Marilyn, their sister property, will always be our first choice!”

“It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Rooms are small but we didn't expect anything fancy. My discomfort was the front desk. When I called days earlier and said we were going to a wedding, would it be possible for an early check in, if the room was ready? I was told we could check in at 1 or 2pm for a $35 fee. I declined. Traffic was light and wound up arriving at 2:30. The desk clerk was not very welcoming. I asked if we needed to leave for half an hour. He said, very condescendingly,……

“THis is a classic historic hotel that has been nicely renovated. The location is right off the beach. The rooms are very large and comfortable. The pool area is awesome. This is the second time we have been at this hotel in a month and will be coming back again and again.”

“Rooms super dated, old smell, cigarette butts in window seal. Need a remodel bad and maintained properly. If u crashing for the night and need something cheap (maybe) wouldn’t book again”

“The receptionist was very friendly but the cleaning has been terrible since I arrived, the bathroom was covered in hair from the other clients and in the 5 days I stayed there. They didn't clean the room even for a day so it was terrible for me.”

“Convenient location. Pleasant staff. Clean rooms. Kitchen cabinets and furniture could use an update. Breakfast was fair (nothing compared to the Hampton Inn's breakfasts). Overall, a nice place to stay close to Long Branch beach.”

“The balcony smelled like urine before we even got to the room. The room itself was filthy, the carpet and furniture were stained,ripped and had burn holes. We didn't even bring our bags in. Still trying to getour money back from the hotel or Expedia.”

“Convenient to Red Bank NJ, 50 min to ERW, access to NJ transit station Red Bank to NYC or ferry service. Continental Breakfast available, bar service in PM. Very clean property, no overnight parking fee.”
