“Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay ”

“I paid higher price for a room with a private bathroom, unfortunately the private bathroom is not in my room, my wife and I had to walk across the public landing, passing another room door, to get to the “private bathroom”. There are small insects too, we don’t mind the spiders, but the flies are quite annoying.”

“Our room was spacious and gorgeous. The bed was really comfortable and big! We were in a Premium King Room. The bathroom was large but it did also smell quite badly of damp. The only negative was the car parking. None available on site and not able to drive up to hotel so we had to bring all our luggage from a neighbouring public car park. Unfortunately the lift wasn't working at the car park so we had to carry 3 suitcases up 2 flights of stairs. Parking was 18 British pounds per day, pay and……
