「The hosts provide a perfect place to stay. It is cozy, but seems more roomy than the pictures suggest. Each room is enhanced by tastefully chosen art, furniture and unusually varied lighting. The kitchen has a surprising amount of functionality, not least of which is how attractive it is. We didn't cook since Alameda has excellent, affordable restaurants nearby, We slept well.」

「I was only there for one evening. I wanted to be close to the Oakland airport for my Monday mid morning flight to avoid traffic. It’s a perfect place for that. No need to get on the freeway and just a short 4-5 mile drive down the hill. Very pretty area too. Oh and the water pressure for the shower was awesome and heats up quick. Thank you again for a very convenient and peaceful stay! I will stay again when in the area. 」

「Extremely comfortable. 」

「Such a lovely little cottage tucked away in the most beautiful and well tended garden. The host is very friendly, welcoming, and has excellent taste! We were very comfortable, she went out of her way to make us feel at home with sweet little touches like organic half and half for the French press coffee and a perfectly ripe avocado. Charlotte the dog was a welcome bonus.」

「Everything was great as always! So grateful we found this special spot 」

「We had an incredible time at this little cottage. The host is so friendly and helpful, making sure we had a travel crib for our 1 year old and giving lots of toddler-friendly suggestions for activities that we followed and really enjoyed. The cottage is cool and roomy but cosy, with a very comfy couch and nice open living area. Kitchen is well-equipped and well-stocked making it easy to cook, and the location is great as you can walk into town in 10 mins. Beds are comfy and cottage is quiet...

We were not able to access the property at midnight, having just arrived in Oakland. After repeated attempts to contact the property manager all day for a door code, I finally called VRBO. The property had been rented, possibly under a different company. I am not sure. We were left to find accomodations at 1 AM. The property was right by the family's house we were visiting so...
