"On arrival the cottage was spotlessly clean. Lovely welcome pack with tea and milk in the fridge. Lovely location with great walks in and around, and when we came back to the cottage we could warm up with the fire.Great place for a break and to enjoy the outdoors. Would highly recommend. We had a lovely time."

"It is an old farmhouse with a few quirks that you quickly get used to. We had a great stay and really enjoyed ourselves. A quiet location that is less than 20 minutes from the M6. Bentham is less than 10 minutes away and that has local shops, including take-aways and Pubs. A great location for exploring the area.Make sure you take clothes for the whole of your stay as there is no washing machine."

"We had a fantastic time at Inglenook Cottage. There was everything we could need on arrival, including a very detailed welcome pack which was great as we didn’t know the area too well, and some lovely surprises.The cottage was lovely and clean, and clearly extremely well thought through and loved by the owners. Bathroom and kitchen nice and modern, but with the overall character of the house maintained.We had 4 guests and it was the perfect size for us - the original character of the cottage means that a few floors are uneven and there are low ceilings and beams on the top two floors, but we didn’t find that a trouble at all. One of the best I’ve stayed in."

"I had a lovely 4 nights stay at Penny Black Cottage. The accommodation was clean and cosy. The bed was so comfortable that I felt ‘fully refreshed’ each morning; and the view from the bedroom window was amazing - you could see for miles!There is a lot of road noise, but it didn’t affect my ‘holiday’ at all. I hope to return later in the year."
