"Extremely clean and fresh smelling on arrival. Good comfortable furnishings and well equipped kitchen. Thoughtful things like night light, lantern torches, dog throws and cleaning things. Well positioned for walks and local pubs were good. Probably the best cottage we've been to and we take at least 14/ 15 per year."

"We had a fantastic time at Inglenook Cottage. There was everything we could need on arrival, including a very detailed welcome pack which was great as we didn’t know the area too well, and some lovely surprises.The cottage was lovely and clean, and clearly extremely well thought through and loved by the owners. Bathroom and kitchen nice and modern, but with the overall character of the house maintained.We had 4 guests and it was the perfect size for us - the original character of the cottage means that a few floors are uneven and there are low ceilings and beams on the top two floors, but we didn’t find that a trouble at all. One of the best I’ve stayed in."

The cottage itself was immaculate—spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully furnished to a very high standard.The location is superb for anyone who loves the outdoors. Scenic walking routes begin practically at the doorstep, with stunning countryside views just a short stroll away. After each day’s walk, it was a joy to return to such a cosy and comfortable retreat, especially the log burner.Our host was exceptionally attentive and friendly, ensuring every detail was just right without ever intruding on our privacy. Their warmth and care truly enhanced our stay.We would not hesitate to return and wholeheartedly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful break in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. A genuine five-star experience!"
