「Séjour catastrophique au Grand Hôtel Londra de Sanremo. Ce "grand" hôtel n'a de grand que la publicité mensongère qui l'accompagne : dans les faits, on découvre des lieux chaotiques, dignes d'une maison hantée plutôt que d'un établissement hôtelier en activité. 「Friendly staff, bilingual but also helped us learn som Italian. Nice hotel away from the busy flow of Ventimiglia, but closer enough to be accessible. As many have noted, the hotel sits atop a mountain-- spectacular views-- so the drive up (we used taxis or the bus) is "fun"! We enjoyed the pool, breakfasts on the terrace, and the turtles. A nice spot to get away and perhaps better with ones own car--next time.」

「Das Hotel an sich ist nicht schlecht, allerdings ist es sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Man merkt deutlich, dass vieles renovierungsbedürftig ist – an einigen Stellen wirkt es, als würde alles langsam auseinanderfallen. Besonders das Badezimmer bzw. die Dusche war leider eine Katastrophe. Das Personal ist freundlich. Es kommt zwar nicht von selbst auf einen zu, aber wenn man etwas benötigt, wird einem geholfen.
