“My husband and I cannot say enough great things about The Cabot Lodge! We stay about once a month while visiting family in the area and the owner/staff always make it very enjoyable and comfortable for us! Thanks again to everyone at The Cabot!”

“We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is quiet and has a great vibe. It’s a good 15min walk to the main center of city but is a pleasant walk. Met all our needs. Comfortable bed, clean, cute themed room and most importantly it was quiet.”

“Very nice comfy spot, only issue I had was the cord for the little desk fan didn’t work. Great spot other than that. Little pricey but it was Memorial Day weekend. Quiet and there were no interactions with any staff due to it all being through phone it was contactless”

“This hotel was a great gem in the middle of downtown Salem. We enjoyed being able to walk to almost every point of interest. The room was spacious and chic. The shower was a bit small and parking was horrendous. The hotel host a lot of events so that contributed to the abundance of people in the area but we eventually got a spot toward the evening. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here.”

“Nice central location. But the windows are very thin and not insulated. That means you will hear every motorcycle rev, car, truck, and conversation. Especially after they get out of the bar that is right on the corner. I suppose if your room was facing the opposite side of the main street you should be good but if not, good luck getting sleep. Also, the blinds were a pain to open and close, be prepared to get your hands get roughed up.”

“Beautiful property and super helpful front desk team! Great communication leading up to the stay, and friendly welcome. Pantry well stocked (fresh cookies!), and comfortable lounge area. Perfect location for museum, restaurants, shops, and sights. Room was clean and comfortable!”

“Traveled with 92 yo parent and the staff was able to accommodate us nicely. This is an older hotel so there is no elevator,which we knew prior to booking. We were able to negotiate the stairs fine as the staff put us on the main floor. The breakfast was made to order and was delicious. We would definitely stay here again”

“This hotel was way overpriced for what it offered. The room was dark and dingy. It was loud sometimes at night. The pool was uninviting and there was no room service. I felt like I was completely ripped off for a two night stay. I would not recommend this hotel.”

“The room was great- exactly as described. The gentleman owner was kind - lived on the premises and spent a lot of our stay mowing the lawn and working in the gardens. Would be a bit uncomfortable for femme people traveling alone, but a good set up for people looking for conversation or company. ”
