"The location is great. The hotel is old and beaten down but it's clean and lively. Its in the heart of a busy area so if you stay on the 1st floor the noise from the street will be a part of your stay. It's not too bad though actually adds a nice vibe to the stay. "Good 5 star hotel but the mattress, carpet and air conditioning is a bit tired. The housekeeper will always adjust your thermostat to 22, but it needs to be left at its lowest setting if 18.5C to keep the room comfortable (adjust the fan level instead). Our keys frequently stopped working to unlock the door, twice after being just made at the front desk just before heading upstairs to the room. Baffled even the staff that needed to accompany you to make sure the new key could open the door: NOT"
