"Great location right in the town centre, helpful and friendly staff. "

"Room was nice . The staff were very helpful from start to finish and had no problems with us changing rooms so we could have a bath in the room . 1st night was really quite and we slept well. 2nd night was very noisy . We had people being loud and slaming car doors . Then around 3am people talking loud and running baths . The only real issue with the room was we had a lot of ladybirds getting in . One thing I did find strange was we couldn't not get a meal in the hotel as they had not cook thursday or friday night so we had to get deliveries "

"We spent two nights at the hotel and were very pleased from the moment we arrived. The décor was lovely, the room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was big and extremely comfortable. The staff were very friendly and eager to help. We used the spa facilities on the day of arrival, and it was wonderfully quiet — we were able to enjoy the sauna, steam room,pool and the gym without any waiting. The whole hotel felt calm and serene throughout our stay. The food was very good, and overall it was a fantastic experience. We would definitely stay here again."

"My family and I stayed at Reeds Farmhouse as a long term let (sept 24-Jan 25) whilst we waited for our house move to complete. It was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed, was well equipped, including incredibly comfy beds! Jo and Chris were lovely hosts and made us feel at home and answered any questions we asked very quickly.The barn is in a beautiful location and was perfectly situated to help us get to the know the local area. Thank you!"

"An idyllic location with the forest on your door step. The lodge is clean, bright, airy and cosy. Fantastic weekend with a trip into Alton and and a walk around their local craft fair which happens once a month. Our timing was perfect. If you like craft fairs selling local produce and stalls selling hand made crafts this is well worth a visit, just check dates that the fair is on. We only stayed for the weekend but would highly recommend staying here and enjoying all the things that are on offer in the vicinity."

"In need of some maintenance. Kitchen and bathroom sink taps very loose. No mirror in main bedroom. No coffee maker. TV reception freezing, internet often slow. No drying rack until ordered by host. Overall, adequate. "

"Lovely stay at Cedar Lodge during the Christmas week. Hosts kindly put up a Christmas tree & lights and left some Christmas cake- which was a lovely touch.Very tidy, and had everything we needed. Location was perfect. Beautiful views from the lodge, and plenty of walks close by. Would definitely recommend for a quiet getaway."
