“For us, just a one-night stay, but we arrived about 4pm on a Sunday afternoon, to find this is an extremely popular venue for Sunday lunches. The menu continued into the evening and we were able to see why it's so popular. A great meal, and then a lovely cooked breakfast the next morning. The room, facilities and bed were all comfortable and all in all, we had made a good choice in a quiet rural location.”

“The lights in the bathroom were beautiful”

“Everything needed for a cosy, relaxing stay. Will book again.”

“Tired, run down hotel in need of investment. No breakfast, no lifts”

“Very comfortable and well-maintained room. Excellent easy to use shower”

“Excellent food courteous hosts good location for exploring local area on foot”

“Door was already unlocked when we arrived 28th Oct even though key was in secure unit which seemed a bit strange considering the place is shut on a Wednesday. Main light didn't work only table lamp.”

“Such a beautiful and easy place which located just next to the river, so you can see the wonderful landscape from inside ^_^”

“Lovely comfortable room. We were able to check in early and given clear instructions to do this. Breakfast was ordered the evening before and it was excellent. We also had dinner the evening we arrived and really enjoyed the varied and interesting menu.”

“Old Post Office Hotel is a decent hotel located conveniently in the town centre of Shrewsbury.”
