"The staff were so friendly and helpful. Loved the courtyard and the room was updated and very nice. The breakfast was bare-bones (bagels and cereal) but definitely got the job done before our long drive after visiting our kids at IU. We didn’t get to the bar, but they had live music there one another of our trips to Bloomington. It’s not within walking distance to Kirkwood, but close enough for a short drive. We would stay again. Note the price fluctuates wildly depending on the weekend. We stayed for less than $120 on the weekend we were there, and the price on the weekend we planned to return was, and I’m not kidding, 10 times that much!"
