Denver Boondocks Food and Fun Hotels

"The hallway reeked of marijuana. The mattress was uncomfortable and had dips. The pillows were extremely small (14x14). There were stains on the carpet, the bathroom floor (yellow). I don’t think anyone would called what they offered breakfast ( small danish in plastic, a few yogurts, terrible coffee). They did a small area that offered cereals and other better looking food items for Sale though. The front desk staff were rude and unprofessional. The rating on Expedia should reflect 1 star hotel with a 5 rating at best. "

"Perfect location for visiting our son who is a student at CU Boulder. Short drive to campus and great location to explore downtown Denver and surrounding areas. Close to shopping and many restaurants."

"It was stated that there was a hot tub. The area that supposedly had the hot tub was covered with concrete and chairs and tables were placed over the concrete. The concrete did not look fresh! Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable but found a dog biscuit in the sleeper sofa. Sleeper sofa was very uncomfortable. Walls were thin when sleeping."

"The property is very old. There were cigarette burns on the sink and bathtub that have to be from 20+ years ago when smoking in a room was still permitted. I checked in very late and the staff was accommodating and I did get into my room. It was clean. There was no signage about WiFi being available or anything, nor anything describing amenities. The building is not marked "Suburban Studios" so was difficult to know I was there. For after hours there is a note on the side of the building with the number to call and it was barely legible. I had to shine my light on it and guess at 2 of the numbers. Parking lot was full, so it was difficult to find a spot to park. It was a busy weekend. Again, the strengths were the people working there, but the facility is old, tired, and not very appealing to the eye. Lots of dope smoking outside so the clientele is what it is. "
