"I picked this hotel because it’s gorgeous and in a great location. From the moment we arrived, the doorman greeted us, and front desk welcomed us. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms (8th floor) they offer and it was lovely. Beautiful view. Lots of amenities like hair dryer, mini fridge, iron/ironing board, coffee, tea, robes, slippers, glass glasses, closet with full length mirror, towel warmer, make up mirror w/light (though the light was dim and not really helpful for my old eyes). Lobby is posh and gorgeous, offers waters, and candy on a very cute cart. Decor had nods with an equestrian flair. Even the drapery ties are leather and brass saddle stirrups. We had drinks out back on the outdoor patio that made you feel like you were in a park, lush and green. Tables were classy and service was impeccable. I’ve worked in the service industry my whole life and every employee here was wonderful. Our room was quiet, bed was comfy (though the pillows were a bit dense and firm) It had nice soft sheets and nice bedding. Another nice feature was the plug in’s. They offered European, USA, and British plugs on the desk so I did t have to use plug converters for everything I had. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful- so many choices, juices, cheeses, breads, bubbles, and all of the regular English breakfast choices. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Every time we left or arrived we were greeted so warmly. I would 100% stay here again"

"Stunning Lobby and bar. Check in experience was satisfactory. Room was small with small double bed. Cocktails at the bar were great however the bar experience was disappointing. Along with other residents we had to wait at least 45 minutes in between drinks to be served again at one point having asked for more drinks the server disappeared and forgot us…. we were still expected to pay13.5% service charge. Frustration was clear amongst the people around us. The bar was understaffed and the frustration with this was also apparent amongst them! We gave our feedback on check out about the bar experience, the team member was sympathetic but advised that we should have reported this to the bar staff at the time. This was not appropriate to do at the time as it was difficult enough getting a drink let alone trying to give feedback or refusing to pay a service charge.We were offered a voucher however we were leaving at that moment so declined the offer and just left our feed back. Great location for central London ..just next to Hyde Park "
