“Gweta Lodge was a perfect break point in our journey, we stayed two nights. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We had a lovely village walk one morning, and then enjoyed the evening drive to the pans visiting the Bushmen and the meerkats on the way. The facilities are good enough to make you feel relaxed and at home. We had a lovely time.”

“Freundliches Personal, das Abendessen war nicht unser Geschmack. Leider war es beim Frühstück nicht anders, als wir zum Frühstück kamen war soweit alles leer und wurde auch nicht wieder aufgefüllt . Kaffee war kalt.u.s.w. In unserem Zimmer waren die Fliegengitter aus der Schiene und nicht funktionsfähig. Die Zimmer nicht besonders schön. Für so viel Geld hatten wir etwas anders erwartet.Wir waren absolut nicht zufrieden. ”

“Staffing was a major issue. There was a cleaner there when we got there and didn’t seem to have any information about us coming. The rooms weee clean but little things were broken (tv remote). When we tried to leave the next morning, there was absolutely no staff around and we couldn’t get out of the gate. It took us 10 minutes to figure out how to get out of the grounds. No communication from anyone. It would be a great little spot to stay if there was a bit better service. ”

“A lovely lodge located on a gentle hill overlooking the plains. Staff are phenomenal, warm and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. We went on a morning game drive and a sundowner, both were excellently arranged. Whilst there is limited choice for food, breakfast, lunch and dinner were all provided and the food was tasty and homemade well seasoned. They made our daughter chips. We loved the warm rock cakes! The hotel manager is a real gem. The lodge was well signposted and easy to find, it’s……
