“Base camp for hiking in the Indian Peaks Wilderness and southern Estes Park. Easy walk to Nederland, with a couple great eateries (New Moon Cafe, Kathmandu restaurant) and groceries. One used the bedroom (a little tight around the edges, but with excellent reading lights), the other a fold-out memory foam queen mattress. “Since we rented two cabins, I guess I get two opportunities to say how great our stay was. If you didn't see my other review, read it. It basically said that we had a great time, especially by the river. The property is quiet and peaceful. The Hosts are great, very attentive, but you hardly know they are there. We loved playing cornhole and going for walks on the road. My preteen especially enjoyed climbing the rocks. There is no cell service, but the wifi is strong through the property. We will……

“My Wife and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. Amazing location with lots of beautiful views and lots of wildlife to see. The house feels very remote, peaceful and very relaxing. The house is very well organized and has everything you might need during your stay. The Host/Homeowner (Rob) is very friendly and easy to communicate with. “Private, secluded, peaceful home in the woods that was so comfortable and relaxing. The views were fabulous through the large A frame window and the wrap around deck that was especially inviting after a long hike. The kitchen was unbelievably well stocked with cooking supplies, coffees, spices, condiments and a few treats like popcorn and cocos. Linens were plush and the beds were quite comfortable. Our hosts were very responsive to any needs and were especially helpful about location and check……

“My husband & I stayed with our son-in-law and his 2 boys. Both boys have a form of muscular dystrophy called Freidriech’s Ataxia and are in wheelchairs. They needed a weekend in nature and the cabin in Pleasant Valley fit the bill. We had to navigate a few stairs but all in all the environment was perfect. Marty, the on-site property manager, was very friendly & responsive. ”
