"Bramley Cottage was a lovely place for a peaceful break. Very dog friendly with a nice little garden with very comfortable wooden chairs to relax in, surrounded by fruit trees.The cottage had everything we needed so we were very happy. But the bed was not the same as in the photos, it is a metal bed frame, that is very high! James was a very friendly host and a visit to their farm shop for coffee and cake is reccomended."

"Very nice quaint cottage everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bed very comfy. The only downside for me was the very steep narrow stairs but were manageable. The owner was very nice and helpful lovely breakfast basket left in the kitchen with bacon eggs tomatoes bread butter and milk. A fire made in the grate just needed lighting. I had a very pleasant stay would definitely stay there again."

"This was a great hotel for our families needs. Room was a good size and it had a mini fridge and a Co-op across the road! The pool was great. Hotel was very clean and staff very helpful and friendly. There is a car park very close to the hotel (train station park and ride' car park), their is a charge - note busy during working hours. 10/15 min bus journey to the centre of Cambridge which was easy to navigate."

"Booked this last minute, hotel itself and room were great. The main gripe I had was how scandalous it is to charge almost £10 for parking per day on top of the room fee- it’s off a busy A road, it’s not in a town centre. Will make sure to read the fine print beforehand, wouldn’t book again on this basis."

"The room was suitable for our short stay, however with such lovely expanse of grounds it was therefore unfortunate that the view from our room was a 12foot high brick wall. Despite there being no air conditioning the room had a patio door which once open cooled the room. Upon request the hotel provided a fridge for my elderly mothers insulin, unfortunately the fridge was faulty and froze the insulin which caused a unplanned medical issue. They were quick to provide another fridge which was needed for the replacement pen. At 5pm I placed a bar food order for Gamon, egg and chips. I was informed food was served from 6pm which was not a problem. I needed to eat the food in my room so I asked if a call could be placed to my room when ready so I could come and get it. I never received a call so my food sat under heat lamps. It was 6.16pm when my food was brought to my room. The gammon was lovely, the fried eggs were over cooked, so no yolk, or the lamps could have dried them out, the chips were over cooked which I was unable to eat. If I wasn't so hungry I would have sent it back. Despite all of this I would certainly recommend the Manor of Groves and stay there again but ask for a room with a view and be specific about my food requirements"
