“I’ve stayed here several times now when in Chelmsford for work. Lovely place, nice staff, rooms are fab and reasonably priced. A short drive to a park and ride into Chelmsford so perfect for me! Will definitely stay again and recommend!”

“Lovely hotel & room. Surroundings were beautiful. Super arrangement (coffee shop) for breakfast, but only one option from the menu was too limited. Food when it arrived wasn't hot enough really. Should have pointed this out. Don't like to make a fuss. ”

“Lovely rustic pub / hotel. Room was great with the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for some time. Kitchen was closed for refurbishment but only a short walk into the centre of the village. Good choice of cask ales in the bar. Will stop here again if work brings me back to the area”

“Room was clean and the young person was so very helpful Breakfast was excellent and cooked perfect both mornings I commented to the young chef that cooked our breakfast on Wednesday morning. What a fantastic job he had made. Even the waitress listen to instructions about tea and toast and followed them to the letter The only thing I’d probably say that was missing was the attached pub/bar only did lunchtime meals and not evening”

“Easy to check in online. On arrival reception staff member was very welcoming and helpful - nothing too much trouble. Found all staff had the same ethos.”

“We’ve just had a lovely one night stay at The White Hart in Coggeshall. The inn is cosy and the room was clean and spacious. We were able to find a parking space in the small car park at the rear of the inn. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. We had an evening meal and breakfast both of which were plentiful and delicious. If in the area again we would definitely stay here again. ”
