"I went to see friends in the area. I was happy with my stay, however, there is some up keep needed such as the windows not all locked or were needing to ne replaced. I felt safe so that wasn't a concern. Getting to the water wasn't easy-going. A better pathway diwn would be nice. I use to live in the area so my review reflects being not just a guest but a former local."

"It was only a one night stay for a marathon held in Ventura. There was a bit of a mix up with a parking but the property host was great at communicating and resolving the issue quickly. The property was clean and in a safe, gated community. We recommend!"

"This property was everything we hoped for! While it’s outside of “LA proper,” the extra bit of driving is worth staying here. The area was cozy and private where I felt we could truly get rested after long days. Parking and access to the space is a breeze and the surrounding area is worth checking out. The hosts were responsive and the animals on property was awesome! Highly recommend making this apart of your trip. "

"First, Carina was always quick to reply to any comments/questions sent to her. Great property, great amenities. Coffee, linens etc. washer and dryer. I enjoyed the hot tub every night. We were a little further west, but it actually wasn’t not bad. Very nice, safe, beautiful. Beds were comfortable! Easy and beautiful drive down to Malibu. Definitely recommend. "

"The location is on PCH - we walked to nearby restaurants but largely drive to hikes, the beach, etc. It was super convenient and easy parking and property managers were reachable and checked in to make sure we had all the info needed. Two thumbs up!!!"

"I think this is the most awesome place to stay. Much better than a motel. I had my dog with me they even provided a treat for her. They have a nice little kitchen . "Very thankful I found this lovingly decorated and comfortable apartment with separate entrance and ample street parking in Thousand Oaks! The hosts were kind and accommodating to the max. I couldn't have had a better stay. I truly felt I was staying with friends! Loved the hiking paths that began less than half a mile from my VRBO home in the lovely canyons. Would return anytime when back on work assignment - or holidays in Southern California. What a gem!"

"The unit had all the amenities for being able to cook one’s own meal (I did not). Very thoughtful as to the supplies, utensils, etc. I enjoyed the vibe of positive sayings. I met the host, John, he is easy to talk with, friendly, informative, and accommodating. The common area would be nice for an outdoor meal or just hanging out. Starbucks is walkable. Overall, I would recommend this location. "

"I would not recommend this property. The apartment would fill with the smell of marijuana smoke several times a day (from a nearby tenant). Also the listing on Expedia indicates 2 bathrooms but there is only 1 bathroom. The morning of our checkout I got a call and a text at 6:45am asking what time we would be leaving so they could arrange for the cleaning crew. We definitely did not appreciate the timing of this call while traveling. I told them we would leave at 11, which was our check out...
