“Everything but the stairs was toddler friendly which we knew ahead of time. It was great to have a crib already set up. It didn’t feel like the most secure neighborhood & as other reviews mentioned there was in fact extremely loud music being played next door (obviously not the hosts fault). I would plan to bring a sound machine or play white noise on your phone. ”

“The Barkley House was the perfect place to lay our heads after working all day moving our son into his first apartment. Very clean and the bed was super comfy! We will stay again in the future. ”

“We were looking for a quiet retreat to get away and enjoy the nearby shopping and Milk and Honey Ranch. The accommodations were more lovely and thoughtful than the pictures show. Attention to detail- like fresh bread and jam, a hand written “Happy Anniversary” card, cold water in the fridge, and chocolates made the stay that much more special! The cottage is incredibly clean, modern, and cozy. We walked the pristine property and enjoyed coffee on the back porch area. Even the streaming services……

“This is the most charming property. I stayed in the main house in a beautiful room on the ground floor. Everything is so well maintained, you feel as if you are living in your own lovely farmhouse. The owners have thought of everything - from the honor bar where you can grab a seltzer water or a snack to the delicious coffee you can make to kick off your day. I also love the pool area! Loved it all -- and can't wait to go back! ”
