"A great place for our 50th Anniversary. This is a beautiful resort. The food is great at the on-site restaurant Holoholo Grill. The resort has a mini mart The Gourmet Marketplace was very useful. This resort is about 1/2 mile from SHOPS AT KUKUIULA for shopping and many dining options. Ample parking at the resort. A short drive to Shipwreck Beach."

"Nice location Clean and easy check in and great parking.Only confusion was that the unit number vs our parking spot number. We didn't know this when we 1st rolled in, but got it soeted quickly! . Other than that everything was awesome!!"

"Wonderful house and great host!We had a great time in Kauai. The house was amazing and full of extras like laundry detergent, seasonings, foil. All the things you wish you could bring with you but can't. The porch is amazing and we had wonderful evenings playing games and talking. Short walk to beach but again, they have all the extras with boogie boards, etc. Will come back. Thanks again!"
Delightful Historic Cottage Steps from Poipu/Brennecke's Beaches A/C

"It was great. House is 80 yards from the beach in a fantastic location. It’s a very cute large 2 bedroom cottage with a screened in porch and a full kitchen. It was furnished in eclectic Hawaiian decor with great books and everything was comfortable. We were there 10 days, and had breakfast there everyday but one, some lunches and barbecued 3 times. There is a great local fish market . There are many good local restaurants in walking distance or a short drive. Closest restaurant is Brennecke’s (ahi tuna sandwich 4 star) and our favorite was Living Foods. 3 young woman’s open a bakery from 7 to 10 in front of Brennecke’s and at first I balked at 10 a pastry until my wife and I shared it and it was incredible. Walking east towards the grand Hyatt is a good walk, 3 mile round trip, walking west towards spouting horn is 6 mile round trip. Poipu beach is great for kids and adults and as you walk further in front of Marriott is great snorkeling and then the beach in front of the Sheraton fun larger waves. Each resort has a bar and good food. The cottage comes with a membership to local pool, gym and exercise classes and more great food and drinks. Best drink all week was a Lemon Drop at Brennecke’s."

"We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this property again if we came back to Kauai. The property is well equipped, with everything we needed for cooking, sleeping and hanging out. The ocean is visible and audible across the street, and it is very easy to access Poipu beach, where several sea turtles haul up late afternoon until they leave in the early morning. There is also usually also one monk seal around on the beach - they tend to arrive in early morning and leave late afternoon. A large part of Poipu beach is sheltered and suitable for children to hang out in the ocean. A hot dog stand/shaved ice store in within walking distance, as is a surf shop and fish restaurant. Any other shopping (souvenirs or food) will require a short car ride. We hiked, walked along the beachfront, hung out with the seals and turtles, and drove to Waimea Canyon. The host was helpful and communicative. Its a great location and a very nice property."
