"Our stay was so nice. It was a quick walk to the beach, chairs and a wagon were provided. The house was very cute and cozy. The outdoor shower was very refreshing. The owner lives next door so it was very convenient especially if we had any questions."

"The Plum Pad was awesome! We loved the screened in porch. We had coffee out there every morning and could watch the sunrise over the bay. Communication with the host was easy and got replies back quickly. Everything from the Plum Pad is just a short drive away, except for the beach which is right down the back path. We couldn't recommend a more relaxing and groovy place to stay!"

"Absolutely beautiful sunrise and sunsets daily. Bedrooms were well set up with adjustable temperatures. Fully stocked kitchen which made dinners easy, that is if you like to cook . Lots of beach amenities including a cart for beach stuff and chairs for fishing, bring a rod! Had a great time."

"The house was exactly as described. The views were amazing. My son kept saying I knocked it out of the ballpark with this place. It was a perfect location for our family vacation. The walk to the beach was short and the beach felt like our own private oasis. We enjoyed kayaking on the river directly out the back door."

"Perfect cottage for couples on a private quiet beach - loved low tide. The sun shade cabana is wonderful to watch sunrises and to take breaks from the sun on beach days - this was a wonderful addition to the cottage. Close to major attractions and farm stands and ice cream and biking or the ferry to Cape May. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again."

"The property was very clean upon arrival. It has been updated with modern vinyl flooring and living room furnishings since the listing photos. John & Cathy are wonderful, kind hosts should you need anything during your stay. The fully gated wrap around porch is very convenient for dining, relaxing, and washing off your sandy feet, especially if you have pets or children. The beach is semi-private so it was not crowded and the water is mild.Local recommendations - Definitely try PoBoys - it’s a short drive & little unexpected gem and the Broadkill General Store has yummy sandwiches and burgers. Kings ice cream in Milton and the quaint town of Lewes has dining and unique shopping. The Lewes Ferry to Cape May is an opportunity for a full day of entertainment as well. Overall wonderful stay at Broadkill Beach! We will definitely plan another visit here. Thank you, John & Cathy!"
