「I stay here most years for an event I attend nearby. The rooms are good value, clean and have everything I need. It is low hassle, quiet and I sleep well. Breakfast is very basic Fruit, pastry and cereal bar hung on the door the day before but suits me for an early start.」

「We had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. Hannah was extremely helpful and was quick to respond when i accidentally deleted the message with the keycode! The room was extremely comfortable and clean. We had a superb meal in the pub, and the staff were very friendly. The room was peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed the views and a glorious sunset. 「Our first time at The Green Man and we will be returning. Had a great time, accommodation and food excellent. They also have a wonderful front of house called Amanda who was great fun and extremally helpful.」

「Love the inn is so close to the river, very lovely view and walk along it. Excellent food served at the inn and all the staff were very friendly during our stay. The door to our room was a bit stiff and hard to get into, and the bathroom ceiling was a bit mouldy, but other than that the stay was so wonderful and we would definitely come back again.」

「The staff are very helpful and pleasant and make you feel very welcome. The room was very clean and well maintained. The hotel is a little out of town, however the food in the hotel is excellent and has a wide choice, with a reasonable selection of vegetarian food, so no real requirement to go out.
